About Fiddler’s Green Retreat

Fiddler’s Green Retreat is in a beautiful private and secluded setting, with 3 acres of mature gardens and private woodland crossed by a stream with a waterfall. The house dates back to the 1700’s and was originally the gardener’s cottages to the nearby Ivy Tower Mansion, which now forms part of the ‘Wild Welsh Zoo’ owned by Anna Ryder-Richardson (celebrity from the t.v. series Changing Rooms). The zoo’s gibbons can be heard at times, echoing in the small valley.

There are many private areas in the beautiful secluded gardens, so private meditation is easy. There is a Cottage and also a log cabin (kutir), and access to local walks directly from the retreat.

The cottage can sleep up to 5 people over two bedrooms and both have en-suite. The comfortable main lounge has part stone walls, low beamed ceilings, and an inglenook fireplace with log burner.

The log cabin has a Super-king sized bed which can be unzipped to create a twin room, with also a sofa bed in the main living area, offering space up to 4 people with a fully functional bathroom with shower too.

The retreat is situated on the edge of the beautiful village of St.Florence, just two miles from the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Getting here is easy, with easy access via the M4 and A40. Tenby railway station is 4 miles away, and has a direct line via Swansea from London Paddington.
